    Hi all!
I have a problem with a 360's power supply, she had broken, I replaced the bad capacitor making she work, and now not working again. :(

    In details...

    My power supply:

The replaced capacitor is the big capacitor, lying in the middle of the plate, he has 200V and 330uF, traded for an EXACTLY identical.
He was visibly burnt, other components have been tested, but no other problem was found.

After replacing it I did a quick test and the console turned on usually.

After a few days when I again turn on the console it didn't work, I open the power supply and tested almost all components, including those that may have a direct connection with the problem, capacitor (which was replaced), fuse and varistor. They all have perfect operation.

Obs: In this second time, even with these seemingly perfect components, I decided to replace the varistor (can't remember the value), the fuse (250V and 10A) and a small zener diode (10A, I think) beside the large capacitor replaced in the first maintenance, ALL of them by components of the SAME value. The only one who didn't replace was the big capacitor that had already traded the first time and that still seems to be working fine.

Also replace the fuse with a different model, similar to those used in PS1 fat power supplies. below a picture of the original and what I used to override, remembering that both are of equal value.

Now I'm not with the console to test, but Googled that closing the circuit in the power supply cord would she works, also closed the circuit in the fan connector, tried everything that was within my grasp and the ideas are over.

Where I failed, what I haven't seen? My knowledge is still very limited, will have to test something?

    Thanks all. :D

It is a option, but a power supply original Microsoft cost approximately US$ 70,00 here in Brazil.

    Even if
I buy on sites like eBay the price should be around that, I'm out of options.

    Anyway, thanks for helping! \o/

I'm sure there are members here who will sell you one cheaper than that.

Xbox 360 PSUs are around $15-20 on eBay USA. Any decent game shop that deals in second hand goods should stock them, too. They're $30 in Gamestop.

    I see they're 55-80 Reais on Mercadolivre. That's about $25-35, so it's comparable.

Does anyone know the name of this electronic component?

Thanks all for the help, at least I learned more.
