If this is what I think it is (got the same 'prototype'), then it's just an empty shell with placeholder motherboard. You ain't gonna start it up, as there is nothing that will work inside. This is just a dummy console with a 'prototype' slapped on the back.
I have the same unit in my collection - it doesn't have optical drive, it doesn't have HDD, as far as I remember USB ports are non-existent etc. It's just a dummy. Cool thing to gather the dust on... I certainly doubt that the dummy motherboard have necessary circuitry to power it on.
Its photos taken literally from this eBay sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultra-Rar...670976?hash=item4d46f0d880:g:41MAAOSw-4BXaax1 And that console is a bare motherboard version, mostly used for display purposes.
It's a useless model you'd see at IKEA. I have a xenon one mint in its box but even then I'd only value it at around $50 given what it is..... If you wants a true xdk....I gots what you needs....
