So I've been trying to do this: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=18150.0 I have a slim device and I am giving it 3.3v directly from the console's motherboard instead of a regulator and I have the grounds, D+ and D- all connected to the front USB. The problem is, the console is not recognizing that the adapter is there. Has anyone successfully done this? Do I need those 10uf caps? I assume they are only for the regulation circuit.
not possible, as far as i know, the xbox360 adapter its encrypted, this is why you cant just stick a linkseys wifi adapter into the usb slot. but ive never bothered or tinkered with this, so my advice may not be the best here :/
I read on and apparently the slim and phat adapters have different chipsets in them and phats don't have the driver software to use the slim chip So that's a shame. Thanks anyways everybody.
