xbox 360 wireless controller shuts off when sync

I have an original xbox 360 wireless controller that power on fine, when the console is off. But if the console is on, when starts the sync process it shuts off. Does anyone knows what can it be? is there a solution to this trouble? i have searched in the web with no success (only see tutorials to clean the battery contacts or fix the analogs)thanks!

 

reply to myself (may be useful for someone with the same trouble): seems like it's a fake/bootleg controller. It works ok in PC (GNU/Linux) with the pc receiver. I read somewhere that new xbox 360 firmwares blocks this kind of devices.
