XBOX 360 XDK (reviewer kit)

Hi, I've had this thing in a closet for a long time. I got it some years back when I as a student used to review games once in a while and had until I just now stumbled upon it in that same closet forgotten all about it. Is it worth anything?

I took pictures of anything I could think of (can't dig through the menus sadly as I don't have a controller at hand). I've never used it much, only to review a couple of games, and it still seems to work fine from what I can tell.

Some collector will want it. I would not use it as its the 2005 model. They suffer for rlod. Nice find.

 

A few full debug kits have sold in auction lately for around £100/$110 USD with sidecars so I would say around the same here. I traded a pre-release XDK for £90 recently myself with a 120GB retail drive. So I think that's about right.

Your HDD however seems to have content on and this could increase it's value depending on what data is on it. If you can find a controller and get a list of builds/dates this would be helpful.

Alright, plugging in a keyboard let me navigate. I've attached the rest of the content. Fraid theres not much of interest there that I can see. Their dates are all from 2011, most from June or September.

Besides that, I found out theres a review copy of the darkness 2 in the drive (which works).

 

I feel around £100/$110 would be fair then for the kit. The Darkness2 disk, Is it dated by chance? And does it say preview or review? if preview this could increase value. I would say £30/$40 for it though if review on a good day. The apps on the reviewer kit seem to be the normal XDK one's.

 

It's takes a pretty serious buyer, but that doesn't mean you wont find one.

The console is a full devkit inside, so that's a major bonus for people, however it does not have the hookups for a sidecar. So those who want to buy it would be keen on keeping it original, rather than swapping cases, sidecars, etc. It being a xenon would make people skeptical. Has it ever suffered any Red ring issues in its past? if not, you can very well get 150-200 for it. The market for XDK's is a little dead right now, so you'd have to push that price for a while however.

 

What's sexy is the date being before the launch of the 360.
