The RAM? Should. Personally I'd want to match the brands so that timings aren't funky just in case. Thinking of making yourself a debug XBox?

Pretty sure thats identical to the job I did recently. Should have no problems (except for the soldering part)
I soldered 1.0 RAM chips on a 1.2 motherboard and the 2 sets of chips had slightly different markings. Everything is working great. 1.6 RAM chips are known to be incompatible for a RAM mod on a 1.0-1.5. I don't know about 1.5 but these were not produced for long so it's really really rare to encounter an 1.5.
