Hi guys. I'm tring to sell my two old consoles, I have an xbox 360 and PS3 that can still play the games but I'm trying to get the memory cards to work too. I know that the PS3 has a Memory Card Adaptor that I can use this for, but what about the Xbox? I have not been able to find a way to get the xbox memory card to work on the 360. Help appriciated.

Totally stabbing in the dark here - but since they're just USB devices with a funny connector, why not give one of those USB-to-XBOX adapters (for connecting keyboards and the like) a try? Last time I checked, they were around 4 bucks, but they can be diy'd pretty easily too.

Just an idea, but perhaps you could try and find some USB memory cards, copy the save files over to the new memory card and then transfer the save file across via your PC using a flash drive? I had a device like this for the Dreamcast which I used to download save files from the net and copy backwards and forwards from PC - memory card, I'm not sure how the 360 would handle the save files though, or even if such a product exists for the Xbox.

    ^^ right!
with a 99.99% MISS ratio, good luck to sourcing compatible usb cards. (4g or less)
NEVER found one to date, tried all-sorts, from psp's right through to sd's, nada but JACK! (aka: BSOD xbox upon powerup and had to rebuild hdd, made threads on the subject elsewhere, SPPV was working on a device compatibility driver a while back, not sure what the progress is there?!)
    ....
FTP is another good way to back up saves if no cards are available/work. (i do with any console that allows FTP/smb, saves wearing the mc sockets out)
careful though, plugging in usb cards can be tricky, check compatibility first.

not a fan of brand, really despise em tbh (and sooner go for a cost-effective identical functioning item) but in this case, there's NO substitutes.
i had a third party ps2 mc to ps3 converter, til it screwed the mc i was using. (binned it) got an official one, no regrets.
to get to the point, in terms of the right move, don't get a third party ps2 mc to ps3 converter UNLESS:
1, you know what the risks are, nothing dangerous, apart from corrupted save datas...and loss of pocket fatness.
2, verified by known $ony hackers to work as good as the official converter.
    ...
    that's all folks! :witless:

For PS2 to PS3, I'd suggest either the official Sony accessory, or the Datel alternative; have both and they work just fine. Probably more expensive than chinese clones though.

put a dreamcast vmu there for a laugh...but it's not funny really when it requires custom gear to plug them into computers...or get a bba/lan card and use dreamexplorer to ftp the saves off.
every other mc CAN be ftp'd from with the right console ui:
1, ps2 and uLE, has inbuilt ftp server, or use dedicated ps2 ftp server that looks to the mc sockets too. (and most usb cards 4g or less)
2, 360 and fsd. (or wtf 360 da$hes exist out there besides fsd? not looked into it) usb cards work fine on that, it's the original xbox that's a slag!
3, xbox and most modded da$hes, unleashx for one example, and there's MORE! (cough* XBMC *cough! but the volume listings are bullshit and cryptic vs the standard, get translating) and if you insist on using usb cards there, CAUTION regarding usb card compatibility and TROUBLESHOOTING! volume names are the same for actual mc's used for saves.
^^ for the two above, ar xplorer 360 can help, need to be able to plug m$ mc's into computer (via xbox pad bent to computer usb sockets/360 mc cable for computers)
    4, ps3. a ps2 mc to ps3 converter, most usb devices and/or cracked ps3 da$h running an ftp server
    ...
    off-subject MORE:
5, dreamcast. custom cables/hardware for computer, dc pad to usb converter, or a bba/lan card for dc with dreamexplorer running for wired comms to vmu's/transfer saves.
6, psp, cracked da$h running an ftp server.
there's more...(and i don't have the capacity myself to transfer vmu saves to a computer like all else...besides n64 etc..)
    that'll do though!
