Xbox Beta Debug Kit

its got an MCPX X3 in it, which seems a bit odd to me for a "beta" box, would think it would be ealier version no doubt? I dont have any history on the box which is a bit of an arse, it came with 10 "fragging" xboxs and some ninty dev gear, but the person it came from had no idea about dev stuff..they thought NR Discs were sony minidiscs! lol

not had time to play around more yet as busy with work till middle of next week, hopefully then can have another crack around with it.

 

After alot of tinkering around with this it is now completly screwed up (lpc is kinda messy on rear side after abit to long with the hot air soldering iron) ive just put everything back in place as when I got it now and put it on eBay, starting at 0.99p..playing dumb with "it dont work, just flashes red at me" kinda malarky.

This is the saddest thing I've heard in a long time, a real piece of history, gone...

...MCPX X3 was the correct chip for that Xbox as it's a Beta Debug Kit, not Beta Dev Kit. (In other words it was made long after the MCP Dev stage)

I'll have one one day (when I have an assload of cash). I want one of the "Crystal" development Xboxs. I'd feel so guilty, though, as I can't program for shit. It would just be something to look at.
