XBOX dev kit how much?

how much am i looking to pay for one of these and wats the main difference between the debug and dev kit? they seem to run the same software.

A lot depends on the following:

Whether its complete.
Whether the console has been opened and fiddled with.
Whether it works
Whether its a DVT 3 or 4


Main differences, Dev Kit has...

SCSI interface to couple back to P.C DVD emu card
Serial Kernal Debug port.

...Debug's and Dev Kits can run the same software.


Expect to pay:

£200 for a half-decent 'loose' Debug or £400 for a half-decent 'loose' Dev Kit

...Expect to pay a lot more for complete boxed examples with everything that was originally meant to be supplied with 'em

£260 for a DVT4 Dev Kit is good.
£260 for a Debug Kit is high.

Complete will come with box, cables, letter and software.

Just wondering - how much for f#cked up DVT3 devkit without HDD (doesn't pass boot stage even with another hdd/dvd in dvd-rom) ? Everything else is in place.

DVT3 hdd's are locked to their mobo's, no hdd = :-(

...Also the reason it's 'super dead' is because the EEPROM has been flashed with the wrong recovery.

 

I'd pay a couple of bucks for it, even if it was broken. PM me if you want to sell it.

 

Nah, just wondering about the price, since I basically got it for free I guess case/parts are still worth something ?
