Xbox developing general questions

read the helpfile wich gets installed in anycase if visual studio is installed or not. lots of usefull info and if you follow a guide to install 5933 next to Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003.

good luck and dont forget you can get the xdk dash on a modded retail xbox !!! no need for dvt4 or 128mb, thats only used in special occasions.

 

OK, now for some general Xbox questions.

I bought an Xbox, modded for a nice $15. Was under the impression that it was chipped, but it wasn't. Just soft modded with an Xecuter2 bios.
I opened it up (fan on the GPU was loud) and replaced the GPU heatsink with a fanless model, and cleaned it up a bit. After shoving everything back into place, I started it up- but this time I've got issues with the audio. I'm playing the audio over 5.1, and there is very loud crackling sounds coming from the rear two speakers, and from the sub. all other channels, and standard audio is fine.

Not a HUGE issue, but if you know what it might be let me know and I'll try.

 

What dash are you using?

 

XBMC with MC360 skin.
I just updated it to the latest version (3.2) as it was running something older. Maybe that was the issue.
