And Microsoft are giving them away for free. If anyone here ends up with one it'd be nice to see actual pictures of the console, if you ever dare unbox it!
one of the guys who got one took tons of photos, sadly if I'd actually kept my XBL account going I woulda gotten one I guess, since I was on live since the orig xbox beta
I wouldn't worry because I'm reading about people who have 10 year accounts that haven't got one and probably won't. The criteria for getting one is very small and random. The best I found is that the people who got these so far got phone calls from Microsoft before hand, and had a very large number of games played on their accounts. I also read only press/early beta people received them. Theres starting to be fallout from the net over all the people who have 10 year subscriptions and aren't getting the free console. Major Nelson is now posting they will give some away in a contest.
Actually I think it's quite pretty. I doubt I'll get one although I would love to have one. As for those crying babies, it's a free gift if you are lucky. Just because you've had an account for 10 years doesn't entitle you to something free. Some people are born arse holes.
I think that's an awesome looking 360 , I would love to own one for sure. It's pretty cool of MS to do this in the first place and congrats to everyone who gets one.
i'd like to see companies getting more creative with these special edition, adding unique features and extras, rather then just a paint job or different coloured plastic.
The console looks super cool. It does like a transition from the orange of the original Xbox Live to the green that we know today. I like it.

Thx hexigon for the to pictures link, would love to get one for free, but I dont realy like the design, black or silver with "DirectX" on it would be more awesome maybe im to much of a xbox1 fan.
Super cool console and promotion! Too bad it's the Slim. I don't like it very much... But would be almost impossible to offer other than the current retail version, so...
It looks very nice in the actual photo's. I wonder if they'll bother sending them outside of the USA though?
Would have been nice if they were prizes for a Xbox live tournament rather than a "random" giveaway...missed opportunity to promote xbox live to non subscribers.
