    I've been kicking this around for a while trying to see if it could be hacked. I can't do it as my specialty is in hardware reverse engineering. I did put this on UG a while ago but that group of individuals are...challenged.

    This is the XBox Live beta disc v1.0. v1.1 does exist and I'd kill to get a pressed copy as well as the shiny orange memory card. The biggest note worthy item is Re-Volt that did have XBox Live functionality. There isn't much else on the disc BUT BE CAREFUL as this thing has a dashboard update on it, likely one of the earliest builds capable of support Live. I haven't had it overwrite anything but you never know.

    At this point this build of Re-Volt isn't playable as it demands you log into Live, when you don't it drops you right back out. I'm really hoping someone capable can help figure this mystery out.

    Addendum:
    I've also noticed a few small differences from the only version I've extensively played which was the Dreamcast version. Mainly that the menu music I loved as a kid is missing. Probably licensing issues.

    Just to let you know you named the ISO "XBox Live Beta Starter Kit Disc v 1.0" however in the post you state its 1.1.

    So it is actually 1.1?

    Very nice. Pretty sure I hd the Live! Beta with orange memory card many years ago. I have no idea what I did with it.

    its been years since i saw thoes disk, my uncle had an xbox that didnt have XBL and needed a disk to install it.
