I recently purchased a Halo 2 style headset for the Xbox. Little did I know, it didnt come with the Communication card that I need. , so I went back to gamestop looking for official Microsoft cards. Couldnt find any, so I got a Pelican card. I hooked everything up, and I heard the "snowy sound" which told me it was on, so I try it on TS3. I couldnt hear anyone, and I don't think I was reaching anyone either. I also toggled the mute button off and on to see which one on was. (the contents of the box were limited on detail.) No luck whatsoever. Has anyone else had this problem, before? If possible, Could someone join Xbox live on Halo 2 Thursday, or Saturday, to help me see if I can get it working? Thanks
If you want the halo2 headset to work you need one of those official microsoft control boxes..i have yet to see any 3rd party ones that actually work good, it's soo stupid that you already need to own one of those if you want to use any others.
Okay, thanks. Are there seperate control boxes by themselves, or do you have to get one with a headset?
It's a good thing my brother didn't want the Halo 2 headset for Christmas... I found out all of this after I returned it.
Sorry, I didnt see you online... One of my friends came over and he brought Halo 2 over, and first thing, we downloaded the 2 free maps for it, and I found out why my communicator wasnt working, too. It was the account options. I played it a lot, too. BTW, the "Containment" map is pretty cool.
