I think i've said this in the past but I looked at MS treating WinMo7 as their big answer to iPhone then pushing their own single cell phone/gaming device. Today MS showed off Xbox Live for WinMo7 phones. So far it looks like this could be a very good start for MS. http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/16/xbox-live-launch-titles-for-windows-phone-7-finally-revealed-we/ http://gizmodo.com/5614244/xbox-live-on-windows-phone-7-hands-on-and-first-impressions (Check first link for videos of XBLive & Games) Initial game list (MGS = Microsoft Game Studios), target is 60 titles on launch date with new stuff hitting the store weekly. 3 zombie titles at launch! How could it possibly fail!?!? I'm actually pretty excited about this though. I've been putting off upgrading for a few months now hoping to be a WinMo7 early adopter.
Well currently I have a WinMo 6.1 phone. Unfortunately once a I got a different web browser and a couple terrible emulators, there really wasn't anything else to do with my phone. I imagine it'd be better if I could upgrade to 6.5, but US Cellular is the only company that hasn't provided an upgrade, and there aren't any custom ROMs that will work for my phone specifically yet either. I'll watch WinMo 7, but Android 3.0 seems interesting too.
Nooooooo! What are the initial phone companies that will make phones specifically for WinMo7? Please not just Samsung! Please say it aint so. :crying:
