We took in a physically damaged Xbox one system. It works with one exception. The plastic piece that sits behind the controller sync button is missing. We can sync manually with a cord but would like to put this machine back together with all the correct parts. Problem is that we can not find this part for sale anywhere or even know what it is called. Any help pointing us in the correct direction would be appreciated. if nothing else does anyone make a 3rd party Xbox one case? That would be a more expensive option but should also solve the issue.
I don't have a picture of the part because it is missing. There is nothing behind the sync button. A piece is missing. The customer put the unit back together and played dumb like nothing ever happened but was clearly dropped.
Is the sync button not working? If so it's part of the front flex @ $5 too ! http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-XBOX-One-Power-Button-Flex-Cable-Ribbon-Eject-Sync-Touch-Sensor/261554022806?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=32765&meid=fac75d73cf0143989cd8b4a523a77b1e&pid=100011&rk=1&rkt=9&sd=321580937791 The sync button is the dome key off to the left on this picture, looks easy to break I think XeDK means you won't find the green wire in yours (probably a mod or something on a dev kit). Are you missing this plastic piece? Just a hard lump for the dome key to press against, a big hard stick on rhinestone, thick piece of plastic and some hot glue would do the trick..
Yes this is exactly what I need. I'd rather not rig the thing with hot glue and duct tape. Anyone know where I can get one?
