Xbox Ram Upgrade = Black Screen

    I just did the ram upgrade but I'm getting a black screen! No video/audio it doesnt even boot the Xbox logo
    The ring light is a solid green.

    Maybe the bios goes bad? It's a TSOP with X2 5035 bios on a Xbox 1.0 version
    Maybe gpu fried while I was using the hot air gun?

    I'm kinda lost here

    More likely a problem with the ram upgrade...

    You can test ram chips as you go. Did you happen to do that? Or was it an "all at once" kind of thing?

    I'm with bad_ad84, it's probably safe to assume it's the ram. Are you sure you're using compatible ram chips?

    The problem was the ram chip number .2

    Now it's fully working but i couldn't make the chihiro games to work. All the 3 games freeze after that hacked boot screen. I got the files from Iso Zone
    Half-LifeX 128mb Port works fine

    Answering my own problem above.
    I could make the games launch through the file manager.

    Everything seems to be ok now
