XBox RRod help?

Ok, well as every rrod story starts, i turn on my xbox and voop rrod, but then i check the tv and it started up like normal, it can play games and such with no problems, but the leds flash 3rlod? any reason?

this is a jtag btw...

EDIT: it went away after like 3 reboots, dosnt make any sense but w/e

 

There's your reason.

That's normal, especially if the console has been off for awhile.

My 360 (retail) worked for a while where it would show 3 RROD but work fine.

Then it died completely a week later.

Short version, it's an artifact of how the hack works when the SMC initializes. If you're seeing it, you're probably running a Falcon or Jasper as your JTAG box. On a Zephyer you'll ocassionally get an E79 error for the same reason.
