XBOX Saves Silent Hills?

I find this VERY VERY DOUBTFUL but somebody on my facebook swears this is happening.

What say you Bullshit? Credible?

 

Could explain why Sony removed the P.T. demo from their servers even for people who have it in their download library, which is the first time anything like this has happened even on PS3 you can still download demos that where removed from the store 5 years ago if you have it in your download library.

 

P.T. is a project from people that no longer have any connections with Konami. Since Konami owns the IP, they wanted to clear all ties with those people. They (stupidly) decided to take it down from the store, Sony just respected their decision.

It kind of sets a dangerous precedent for this whole "digital future".

 

If this is true, this is an interesting development.
I'm really doubting it though.

 

I posted this here because there was probably somebody here that was in the know. Somebody on Facebook is swearing up and down that this is true and that "He has a source"

of course like that video he isn't saying who.

 

Can people who previously "ordered" P.T. from the PSN store redownload a copy? Or is it restricted to people that already had the app installed on their machine?

It's my understanding you can't even redownload it.

 

That would be very unusual. As BamBoo said, you can download games that were deleted from the PS store more than 5 years ago.
If this is really the case, then this is just pure bullshit.

 

I'm so conflicted about this. I really want it to be true, P.T. really grew on me, I loved Silent Hill and the whole atmosphere that the games really lent themselves to, but on the other hand I'm a rational person and they used the word billion. With a B. I'd like to think folks associated with RoosterTeeth, who I've followed and talked with for over 10 years, wouldn't make wild claims without something to back it up but this sounds like crazy talk.

 

I still have P.T. installed on my PS4 so I don't want to delete it to check if I can redownload it, according to many Youtubers who have previously downloaded P.T. and have it in their download library have some error message when they try to redownload it.

I tested one of my oldest PSN demos from my library which was Simpsons, one of my first ever downloads on PS3 back in 2008 and I can still download it, so yeah it's odd this P.T. is about 8 months old and already gone forever.

 

Maybe this is why it was removed from the PS Store, it's becoming a XONE exclusive. However this makes no sense whatsoever, really everyone who has played was on PS4, if it was multiplatform to begin with.. Anyway, if it sees light at the end of the tunnel, then it's better than nothing. People will still bitch about it though...

So before everyone does, let's wait for official news not some article on the internet.

 

Yea, can't redownload it. So, the only way is to have a system with it pre-installed on it.

Well there we have it. That was debunked relatively quickly. Sounded like complete bull anyway.

 

Like Microsoft would pay "billions of dollars" for a series that hasn't been in the spotlight for a very long time. I wanna see Silent Hills come out as much as the next guy but come on.

 

Yet that guy on my facebook STILL INSISTS.
