Hey, do any of you know if these are crappy ports of the ps2 "mgs substance" vesion or indeed better than the ps2 version?
a bit off-topic, i know, but why mgs substence is so crappy on xbox anyway? i heard plenty of people saying the same thing, but without any concrete arguments. never played it by the way.
It's not. Besides a small ammount of slowdown in a single area, it is the exact same (Minus the crappy Skateboarding mini-game added in the PS2 version of MGS2: Substance). The graphics are a bit cleaner, and cheaper then the PS2 MGS2: Substance.
think they ported xbox port into PS2 as well... PS2 -> PS2 port on Xbox -> PS2 port on Xbox on PS2 cheers
OOohhhh dude I just got SH2 for Xbox not too long ago, and before that I bought my female friend the same game for PS2. We both played them together, and the Xbox one is definetly superior to the ps2 one I think...the graphics werent a ton better but it does have better lighting, it's really cheap (mine was 8 bucks, hers was 12) and it has the extra scenario where you play as maria.......HOWEVER I don't think of that has much of a bonus, since it took me 20 minutes to beat lol. The greatest hits PS2 version has it too, but it doesnt have as good of graphics, it doesnt have one of the endings the xbox one does, and the graphics arent as good....also I think the ps2 red greatest hits things are ugly, and ive never seen it in greatest hits form before anyhow. If you have Xbox I'd say get that version dude. Hope that helps!
