Xbox Special Edition Launch Team 2001

How rare is this? Anyone else out there have one of these gems?

 

They are quite rare. Supposedly around 50 made, with maybe a dozen or so in collectors hands. Those are the numbers I've heard but it's just speculation.

Use the search button near the top of the page and search "xbox launch edition" for some older posts about it.

By the way, no need to make double threads about the exact same thing. One is sufficient and will still get the same amount of attention.

 

I like how you posted this same thread in two forums. Gotta make sure we all see it, right.

On a side note, I would like to take this time to mention that I absolutely despise G4TV. I want my Tech TV back dammit.

 

as oldengin mentioned in the other thread 50 were made but many of them destroyed...

Only 50? I was told that everyone on the Launch Team, or those who worked at MS got the chance to buy one. I happen to have two of them, and my buddy has one of them. I didn't think they were that rare, but it makes me feel better now that I have two of them.
