well... finally I took it out of storage building and set it up at the family room for quick spin... boy is this game hard... I got killed once and then I escaped in time... I will have to go through the manual to get the hang of it... :angry you can see overclocked DC in the transparent shell there... before you ask that blue fence is to prevent my daughter to pull/push those gears behind... :smt022 I have similar fences all over the house...
I assume the Japanese text etc is not to much of an issue on this then? Haven`t played either of mine enough to notice :-(
you can set the in game voice to Englsih although the text are still in Japanese... no big deal though... I'm at the mission 3 and this 1st gen VT sucks... too slow... :smt022
So would you say this game is worth the money it costs to get the setup, or are there better things we could do with $175?
hmm... I paid around 7000 yen for mine and brought with me as baggage... :-D for the amount I spend I'd say it's freaking fantastic... it's shame I won't be able to play often coz I can't leave it hooked up all the time with my daughter running around the house. :smt022
WTF!!!?!?!?!?!? and about your girl walking around o.0, put her in one of those cage things for kids :smt071
nah! I don't mind if she break things really... that's part of growing up and seeing her changing every day is the pleasure of being dad... :smt023
My son wants to play my SB/TEKKI but bless him he can`t press the pedals down hard enough. Quite funny watching a 7 year old playing it :smt043
my daughter loves to play Samba de Amigo... luckily she hasn't thrown the maracas yet... :-D she like all sorts of dance beat music, game and etc... and she's only 15 months...
this thing is really fun! when my daughter and missus were out for shopping I had quick blast with the volume at the max! With 5.1 speakers thing is freaking fantastic! You can hear and feel the things going around you and the anxiety to deal with enemies off screen - you had to turn the VT and it's slow and tedious process which presumably the real thing would be... it's quite tempting to convert a room or build a shed to play it... think of small enclosure with 5.1 speakers wired around and you sit in the middle with large display panel in front of plus the controller on the chair with the folding front bit like the one they use at the uni... or construct one using spare Sparco racing bucket seat I have at the garage... I think I finally got the hang of the control and it's much more fun now... I will hang on to Tekki till I'm good before get SB:LoC for XLIVE... no point to go out and get my ass whipped... cheers
