I had the intention of modding a v1.0 xbox with VGA output (lm1881n method). It is just a matter of waiting for required parts to come in. However, I have been wanting to try the 128mb RAM mod as well in the same xbox. I'm not too sure if a VGA output would be compatible with the 128mb RAM mod simultaneously due to differences in BIOS files. My idea was to possibly find a BIOS to support both functions. I happened to find a BIOS from the 'usual places' that might do the trick. Debug Bios with VGA patch. I don't have the exact name as I don't have access to that hard drive at the moment. It may work as long as I install the debug dashboard for the BIOS to boot into. Xbox plans: Tsop mod (done) Flash multibios to tsop Switch for multibios VGA output 128mb RAM I happen to have a few xecuter 2.6ce's if the need for additional BIOS files comes up. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Just use ForstTheSnowman's and Xman954's X2 VGA BIOS. It has a couple added hacks that are worthwhile. One resets the GPU everytime a new .xbe is launched to fix "green screen games." The other forces 480p so any previous 480i .xbe will work. The BIOS supports 128MB and about every other feature you might want. Edit: I'm curious if it would be possible to hack out PersistDisplay(), or modify it to correct the green tint while using VGA?
If your soldering is good enough for RAM mod, you might want to try another(better IMO) VGA mod which involves tapping on the GPU HSYNC/VSYNC signals. I described it here https://www.assemblergames.com/foru...future-modders&p=654169&viewfull=1#post654169 First post has some reference links you might want to check too.
