hey guys and girls, i finally have 6 xbox originals all given to me recently, one has a Aladdin x2 modchip, and two off them is Tsoped. now my question is what should i do with the other 3 (i just need some ideas) i was thinking off doing a bartop arcade cabinet.. with one off them, any other ideas would be appreciated.
You can do what you like with them... Are you asking what possibilities you have with them or? I don't understand what you're asking? Other than customizing the case, not sure what else you can do... Other than make an emulation machine.
sorry i was not clear... all i wanted was ideas on what i could do with the unmodded ones. but case mods sounds pretty cool. and emulation machine sounds promising
Most I ever did was make a Power Girl XBOX: Has a very basic modchip in it, but I'm all not that skilled with electronics.
Of course, getting back into it though! About the arcade stuff you thought of doing, did you know about the JAMMA arcade boards that are sold for the XBOX? Well, I honestly hate coinops, it's overbloated and it's basically just a dashboard anyway, but a bad one. Best using a dashboard like UnleashX and if you feel creative design your own frontend with it. Can add background music and video clips as well. Search for the best emulators for each system you enjoy and just rename and create icons. Very straight forward and easier to manage than CoinOps5 in my opinion, since CO5 requires stupid packs to work and bunch of other bullshit. I organized an Xbox for a member here as a commission for specially for emulators and he loves it, can check in my feedback link in my signature.

I've got five of them networked together for LAN parties at my house, one of them I use as a dedicated server for Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow and a few other games that use that feature, with that setup other players don't get booted when the host dies, started out slow with a couple of my friends last year and has grown into some full blown chaos on the weekends.
It is fun most of the time but it can be trying when all your friends want to do is hang at your house at inconvenient times like at 7:30 on a Saturday morning after they've been awake drinking all night and decide they want to have a Killtrocity LAN party.
That would annoy the hell out of me, but reminds me of the time when i used to have Tekken and soul caliber tournaments at my house with 10 people in one small room
The main culprit is getting married Sunday (Thank god!) so that problem will be less of a problem I think/hope! If you have the space even for a couple of TV's it's worth the fun you will get out of it, we play a lot of Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon because you can play co-op missions in those, Rainbow Six is my personal favorite!
Lol, no not me getting married, my friend who likes to call me at 7 AM to play Xbox is getting married tomorrow, you know you live in the country when you get invited to go shooting with the wedding party before the wedding!
