If you want to use a PC power supply, you can buy a cable that you attach to the 20pin atx connector, and just plug it into the xbox. It should draw enough power out to be able to use the dev kit.

If you want an official one...the check ebay, they pop up every once in a while.

That really wouldn't be a good idea seeing as 360 dev units are only supposed to be licensed out to game dev companies, not individuals

 

Also if you want to use a regular 360 power supply you need to disconnect the sidecar.

reminds me of the time I emailed nintendo demanding some answers regarding my GDEV. They kindly prompted me to warioworld and even gave me phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Lovely bunch those folks =)

 

you would hope that is the standard answer and not the truth because if the people that are suppose to be helping us do not kno the different models that is just wrong.

Your best bet is attempting to A) Repair the PSU yourself or B) obtain a second-hand one on eBay or various sites (such as AG).

Calling them will only result in you having the item confiscated.

I never have seen that PSU Energizer.. interesting.
