I am interested, I need to check out how much money I still have. I'd also need to know how much would the shipping cost from LA to France.
Also I am a bit affraid of customs getting their hands on this.
Does the unit has access to partnernet ? Has it ever been opened ? Do you know if the demo kit has 512MB of ram or 1024MB ? (as development kit should)

 

I have bought other development units in the past and Customs seem to be perfectly happy to ignore them when marked as "Test equipment" certainly into the UK. I've also sold things to people in France and never heard that your customs guys stopped an item or slapped a large import duty on it.

Hope that helps! For better advice just call your customs department and explain you have test equipment potentially being shipped from the states and whether it would incur charges.

Unfortunately too much for me as well, I had to withdraw, I guess the unit must still be available to anyone who wants it.

The console got much attention that's for sure, shipping it out would have been an option but you better believe I'd have it insured and tracked. If it where anyone in Japan, I'd be willing to go down and use this as an excuse to take time off work, unfortunetely when times are tough, one of my 3 systems must go........
