That's one of those videos that, if you hadn't given me a description, I wouldn't have the foggiest what it was about.

A bit like Art Student coursework, really.

yeah, it was hell getting the 360, but I had to put so much more effort in getting the M2, and yes, it is a 360 review kit......... but the mass of the cabinet I had to get to run the M2 and the special trip from the US to Japan just to pick up this unit that the business in Akihabara refused to ship it international made it all that manlier..

 

my observations..could just be an elite? no screen shots. looks like some girl typing in background, via mirror, If M2 was not stated would not have a clue on what the box the guy was holding.

 

It looks like my 360. A white one with a carbon faceplate. Looks.

 

I would`ve thought it was some crazy guy waving a gutted vcr (circa 1988) in the air with an xbox elite in the background.

That said, i m not much of a master when it comes to M2 information and let alone dev material, so I wouldn't appreciate it correctly anyway.

It's no elite because the reviewer kits aren't as dark as the elites and if you look at the front the driver is the same colour as the kit unlike elites that only have the chrome front.

 

the M2 is clearly the Elite, JAMMA all the way!

Oh man...... all this time I was wondering what the whole "XBOX Elite" thing was about, I had no clue there was a black one on the market....... well, check out the drive, not chrome, plus the boring planets hovering around the table graphic demo on the screen, I doubt the Elites have the XDK Dashboard......... but the XDK doesn't have Polystars......... making the M2 clearly the winner!

You can even see Junko's (girl typing) enthusiasm!

Is Battle Tryst ANY good at all? I want it, but to be fair, Polystars is SHORT, it's barely Playstation 1.5 on the graphics department, equal to maybe the Ridge Racer Turbo demo with some questionable frame slow down. If you have an M2 tech fetish like me, then you must own this game and you'll hit puberty twice!

 

if you dont like the xenon why do you have one? especially with it being a difficult peice to obtain.

 

Actually i am receiving battle tryst in a few days so dont really know how good is it. I really try to get a polystars but it doesnt seem to appear anywhere:crying:

 

Videos and pictures can make images more less brite. Would not use that as a distinction

never know if it was the chrome picking up the black. I have seen that in some pics or if it was painted or even teh replacement bezel from a black night case. Either way no biggie.. to me xbox beats an M2 anyday of the week. To others M2 would be better. just my opinion..

 

WHen I got my black Xenon system I was pretty happy, but being that I got 3 other white xdk systems and the only piece of M2 I could get my hands on was a Konami M2, yes, I do agree the the value of the Xenon systems far outweighs the M2 on many many levels, but an M2 CD-ROM box excites me so much more to see, I would probably faint if I was at a flea market and ran across one! Even the site of one on top of it's original box is all that more naughtier........ hahaha!

 

haha, good luck finding one. I bet you will find one, probably in years to come.....
