First up is a very rare Engineering Sample XDK slim in white and clear. Difficult to locate very much information on this piece, however some examples have been found in all white, some in all clear and very few in a combination of both.

There are no debug headers on the motherboard like traditional test/dev kits, so no stress cables or sidecar in it's future. However this is a version in which the boot and eject are the same sound which is a sharp beep and not what was available on later XDK and retail slims. Boots as "test kit". Check the Youtube video of the boot sound and dashboard.

Updated to 21265.13. This is for console only. 4 GB internal on motherboard. No hard drive, controllers, cables, etcetera are included. Free priority USPS shipping with insurance included within the USA. International shipping needs to be arranged prior to sale and will be quoted appropriately.

PM me for further details and questions for the fastest of responses.

    Did it sell yet? ;)

Make sure you keep your thread updated when an item is on hold for a set period as to whether that person took it or not.

Oops, my apologies. I was not at home last night and forgot to update it. I have not been able to make further contact with the potential buyer, off hold, still for sale. Thanks Retro for the reminder! : )

What's the date of manufacture and what defines it as an ES? I notice the back of it just says XBOX 360 S Console. Forgive my noobness on this type of item.

No manufacturing date on it, no information above the bar code actually. What defines this as an ES is the clear/white outside which has been seen on ES before along with the different beeps for eject and power up. It also has a completely retail appearing motherboard without debug headers and pinouts that stress, test and dev kits typically have without any modifications to the motherboard. Some examples of ES have stress cables coming out the top while others do not. Also some have additional ES labels on top of the disc drive while this one unfortunately does not. Here are an example of other ES which is NOT mine.

If it's not been opened, or for the fact it's clear and if you can read reversed, I believe the mfr can be imprinted on the inner of the shell.

Hmm... after looking at the shell it looks like there isn't anything printed on this inside of the shell like other release models do. It has been opened so I reopened it just now to find the disc drive is dated November 2011. The red sata cable from board to drive is dated 2011-03-13. There is a marker marking "9X" on disc drive as well as an empty set marked on the networking port inside the console.

Hope this helps some with archiving or making an informed decision.

After looking through it all, I found the date on the sata to HDD was 2011-03-13 and the sata from mobo to drive is actually 2010-06-08. Here are a few pics to help anyone archiving this since there is little to no info on them.

Thanks for those pics XS! I doubt this input means ANYTHING, but i think this kit could scare away quite a few buyers, SIMPLY on its exterior and missing the XDK label on the back. It's a shame because this is a gorgeous kit!

Is there any engravings on the case to show differences from retail? perhaps some pin codes or such alike? (id imagine no, since that wouldn't make to much sense..)

No engravings on the case. AFAIK the ES kits do not say Xdk on the back. The are much like the phat stress kits not having anything special about markings are concerned. I may need to make a full break down video to really show members the legitimacy on this kit if that is in question for anyone.
