XDK Asking for an update

So i need to sign into a profile on my XDK, but everytime i go to do so. I get prompted with this message:



Is it safe to install? - I'm asking because i've heard some rumours regarding connecting to live on an XDK isn't a good idea.

If for any reason you need to know which kernel version i'm on. I was on 16547 (2.0.21256.3), and recently just installed a 17489 (2.0.21256.18) recovery.

Other details:
The profile i'm attempting to sign into is an offline profile.

 

Looks like your missing the avatar stuff. Its been a long time since i dabbled in 360 (starting to get back into it) but im sure you need to install the extended partition stuff when running your remote recovery.

Just press the guild button to get rid of the message or NO. You will be signed in offline. I get this all the time on my rgh.
