XDK HV Hacking

Okay gang, so I want to hack up my XDK. I am currently trying to gain HV access through code in order to hack the HV to allow DVD drive pairing (to read retail disks) and then eventually allow true unsigned code, retail code, and dev signed code to run. I know it is/ was possible (before 20353) I am currently on 16547. I am thinking of simply replacing the HV with that from TX fusion or RGloader, it should allow everything I want without issues, but it is based from retail AFAIK and may have some issues with the true Dev burned fuses.

 

Sounds risky, but I am excited to see something like this eventually happen.

 

It's been done before, I'm looking at the Fusion HV right now and it looks wayyy too retail to be compatible for a kit without bricking it.

 

I don't have them anymore but there were some files that allowed certain retail discs to be played in the drive on xdk. I for one would certainly like to see that return at some point.

 

I believe that is XeExpansion that was leaked on Chinese forums some time ago, I'm pretty sure Bunny has it.

Sounds rly intresting I might free some time to go "using" my xdk again (no more emu or hacked games, true devving)

 

We could use any help right now. I am working on a xdk dashlaunch like application that will contain numerous system features including enabling\disabling all of these once we get it working.

I have a version of rgloader running on my xdk. It is possible.

I too find this an interesting predicament of RGLoader on a legitimate xdk.....

 

Well Retail/Dev combo does kinda exist but as always everything is kept hush hush.

And before anyone asks I am not in the cool kidz club either.
