XDKs?

Now, I figured the proper thing to do would be to ask before just doing it. I have a large collection of numerous Xbox XDKs and I wouldn't mind sharing (for Xbox1, NOT 360), but I'm not sure if that would be a problem or not, hence the reason I'm asking.

These are the build versions I have:

3911 (*)
4361
4400 (**)
4627
5344 (**)
5558
5659
5788
5849
5933

(*): I choose not to release this one for personal reasons.
(**): Files only, no installer.

Once again, not sure, so I wanted to ask first.

I'm sure it's within the rules to do so as it's not current-gen, although you may "ruin someone's precious investment" if you upload the same version as they have or whatever, so give it a week to make sure nobody will be too badly emotionally scarred by you uploading this, people around here are so touchy about anything hoarded getting into the public light.

Considering the hot water the site recently had to deal with regarding partnernet leaks, I'm not too sure that assembler is gonna be cool with posting XDKs

 

Hence the reason I didn't release them right away. I haven't done my research, but the partnernet leaks were presumably leaks of the 360 SDK which is current gen. But still, best to wait for staff's opinion/verdict before doing anything further.

 

xbox 1 is discontinue, but its Assembler's call.

 

yeah would love to see these released but im not sure now is a good time, see what the boss says first tho

 

these are not current gen so they should be shared as per the current rules unless it changes permanately for some bizzare reason

 

i think last gen stuff is allowed. Not sure though.

Okay, added every XDK except the 5933. Once again, I don't plan on releasing the 3911 XDK for personal reasons.

 

lol you make me curious with that, but awesome to see these uploaded. Hope someone can write some awesome stuff for X-Box (and maybe I'll finally start paying attention to it, the X-Boxes are my least favorite set of consoles lol)

 

Digging enough on the web you can find some of these. I've had 4627 and 5933 for a while.

 

I haven't been able to, recently that is. 5933 is easy to get, but anything before 5558 is harder to come by. Took me ages to find that 5344, and I had to ask someone personally for the 3911, which is the rarest of them all. But I doubt that some of these I posted are still floating around the net so commonly.

I had 3 of them, and I believe had a few files of 4361.

How about testing a even earlier XDK?

 

I'm not much into XBOX development or its components and stuff, but was wondering:
Besides collecting, is there any other reason to download/use anything but the latest/newest version?
