Just picked a HD-DVD drive up, was a total bargain in my eyes, £12.99 brand new!

Just wondering what are the steps on getting these to work on XeDK, im running the latest flash by the way.

EDIT: To answer my own question, apparently not. I got the hddvd tab in my xbox but everything is comming up as unplayable through it. Highly frustrating!

EDIT2: Scratch that, the drive is borked, will return it to the store tomorrow and see if i can pick up another, if not ive located another not to far away for £18.

    Good lord ~£30 on a hd-dvd drive.

They were giving them away in aus.

    Buy a hd-dvd, get a free hd-dvd player!

Now that is a bargain! The store took mine back and replaced it, unfortunatley they dont work on XeDK, it asks if i would like to play the HD-DVD then stops out saying it cant connect.

I like it still though, i know the movies are getting sparse for it, and to be fair the quality of the titles is sub par, but as for adding to a collection i see it as a must have.

Granted they dont make the discs anymore, but the discs that are available are currently dirt cheap...

A quick scan of ebay shows that these movies run at on average £3 each shipped, and generally thats brand new and sealed!

Tell me, where else can you get 1080p and DTS on original media for that price?

This makes this format far from worthless at the minute, new movies, or movies i cant get on HD-DVD i can go and buy on BluRay.
