XeDK external USB HDD

Hi,
i try to use my external WD Scorpio 2,5" 500GB HDD with my XeDK over USB.
The drive is formated with FAT32 (FAT32Formatter) but XeX Loader do not show it.
What do i wrong? Or is it not supported?
Drive works without external power supply. Please help.

You have to have a file on your external hard drive for XeX Loader to see it. I suggest just making a simple .txt and putting it on the hard drive.

 

If I recall there was a plugin that wrote a small txt file and erased it, but that was for those green hdd's that arent spinning always, so I dont think it applies s, still test it out and let us know how it works out

 

You could try another external drive that isnt green, that may solve your problem...

I use another dashboard (Freestyle), and i can see now the usb hdd.
But xex files crash and go back to the dev dash.

 

You need to use a program called X360GameHack. Use it to patch the .xex to work with a dev.

 

Well i know how to make xex files for dev, i run it from the sidecar without problems.
Its more like i have no access to running xex outside the dev dash. I also have not the ability to transfer stuff from dev to the usb drive and other side...
The usb drive is spinning up and shown correctly.
