    Thanks for the clarification,
just found them on my hardrive without any notes.

Retail? Weird. Those NANDs were dumped from Beta1 kits I once had, IIRC all of them booted to xshell?

Does anyone have any earlier than 1838.1 NAND images they are willing to share? Scratch that, any images at all are appreciated. This is probably hearsay but I've been told that 16xx is floating around somewhere. Sadly there are no beta recoveries that have been leaked, and if so none shared, but since these consoles can flash an image from another console that makes the images act like a quasi-recovery image. The reason I request this is to satisfy my very specific and very strong interest in testing and playing around in these early beta systems.

I guess I'm requesting any and all xex1 files and nand images from XeDK beta 1's.

I have a console here with 1640 I may dump some day. Heck, I'd try coding a small dumper if the sdk was available for beta1 (i dont think it is?). Additionally, me and XeDK were able to confirm that the 1746 located in here *can* boot to xshell. The reason it doesn't is because its missing dependencies on the hard drive. Earlier recoveries seem to store a large portion of the dash on the hard drive. I nearly took out my 1640 kit when I accidentally wiped the hard drive. Luckily, I kept a back up :)

XeDK put my 1640 hard drive files on the 1746 kit and it booted into xshell, in case you're wondering :)

Ah I suppose without the resources on the hdd I’m out of luck if I’m hoping to launch xshell. I dumped my consoles HDD and it had some builds and other miscellaneous items but nothing that would be left over from the earlier recoveries (I assume they just unpack the files to the hdd)

Is there any chance you’re willing to share the resource files here? If not I understand, and thank you for the information. These kits are fascinating to me.

Maybe that 1640 was only internal and there's a flag that isn't set

@XeDK - This is so cool! Would you mind sharing the needed files & infos? I also have a 1746 kit flying around. Sadly it doesn't even have a harddrive :/
