Xenon 360 Beta Dev Kit LED Video

People have always been interested in the inverted ROL and other extra LED`s so i made a quick video, not the greatest quality but anyway.

Very very nice really thanks for sharing this to AG! First time I watched the video I was like WTF red lights!?! Question whats the dashboard like on the Xenon I was just wandering if theres an differences from the final?

 

The Dashboard i`m running seems to be very similar to the retail dash, i`ll have a look tomorrow at both running side by side. I`ll make a note of the version number etc. I really don`t know much about the kit to be honest. One small, well very small point of interest is the rubber feet on the side are about twice the size of the retail kit. you can make them out in the picture.

 

Great video! Any reason why the yellow ones are flashing?

...Looking at your Beta kit its totally different from mine. My case and dvd drive is 'blank' your's appears to have be made later on, as it has 'Xbox 360' markings on the case, dvd drive etc, etc.

It will be handy to know what dash/kernal yours is running on.

 

Yeah i had noticed the markings on the case of mine and the lack of on yours. It only runs the retail style dash, well it is at present. I keep putting off doing the side by side comparisons of the retail dash and the beta kit dash (lugging televisions about).

Can i ask whether your kit came with the dual USB door faceplate attached or was it a trophy from somewhere else that looked good on the kit?

It would be interesting to know how much later on.

*edit* The larger rubber feet on the side of the casing are present however.

 

Mine has the dual rubber usb door as an original fitment.

 

I remember talking to someone about there beta 2 kit and when he turned it on he scared the shit out of him because the leds were red,he thought it was a gonner.

Also OE,for the leds to be red,is that because the hardware is not finalised.

 

The DVD drive has a black tray, can you confirm whether yours is the same OE?

 

Pretty console design. I love how white brilliant plastic looks like. Just a question: The yellow leds which are located on the "top" of the console, Are inside the case? Thanks .

 

It really does look great with the glossy white accessories. The yellowy orange LED`s are inside the case just mounted on a board just under the top grill.
