So, today I decided to boot up the old xbox after a few years of not using it and I find out it refuses to boot to XMBC and only goes to the stock xbox dash, my Xexcuter control panel will not even light up with all the banks and stuff.

I opened it up and made sure everything is plugged in so I have no idea what could be wrong.

The modchip when the xbox turns on stays a solid blue the whole time if that tells you anything.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Get to the flash BIOS by pressing power then eject quickly. Set your bank switches to the appropriate settings and flash away! Especially if you have multiple banks/switches.

Sorry, but no dice on that. Tried it a few times and couldn't get into flash BIOS.

I love how the zero on this board does not look like a zero.
    o lowercase oh
    0 zero

Silly. needs to be added to bugs/fix threads

Try setting the clock to the correct time and date from the Xbox dash and reboot? If this works it might be the clock cap, they leak over time and should be removed from all pre v1.6 Xboxes :) The Xbox will keep the right time if connected to the internet, there is an option in XBMC4Xbox to check for internet time at startup.

Just re-read that back, I'd be no good on "Just a minute" lol
Repetition of "time" and "Xbox" ;)

    a) Don't use the blue theme, then ;)
    b) If you think it should be a bug report, post it in a bug report where it'll be seen. Not as a reply to a comment.
