Take a close look, its through the holes, which would make it the METAL shroud. Have you ever seen an xbox open before? There's metal under the shell, which would be visible when taking a picture using flash, since there's light bouncing off of it.

I have opened plenty of 360s. There are a billion other 360s pictured on this fourm that don't have white crap showing through the grates. It doesn't look like a reflection, it looks white. I don't know what kind of flash he'd be using that would make it look like that.

The case does not matter here - the unit doesn't even resemble a proper XNA anymore. It's too molested. Sticker and serial match - so what. Add the proper faceplate, the proper RF board, the sidecar, the proper bezel, etc and you get to sell it as an XNA. Not a moment before.

So, when are you going to update the OP to mention that the unit is totally molested?

RF board + bezel + sidecar + drive bezel + etc. He'd have to replace virtually every part.

He can make it into an XNA kit, but as it stands it's just a 1gb unit in a beat to shit case.

 

When are you going to show me another case with a grey serial sticker to prove that the case had been painted? It is a XNA Kit regardless of whether or not the bezzle and RF board are original.

Oh, and there seems to be some confusion. I wasn't saying the case had been painted to look like an XNA, I was saying it was painted to try to hide some of the imperfections due to it being thrown out a window or whatever happened to the poor thing.

 

I don't quite know why everyone is claiming this is fake. I have no knowledge but just look how accurate it is, it does look authentic in some respect but I haven't seen an XNA in person just to compare so I may be wrong. Additionally who are you all to decide that this is fake? You have not seen every XNA model in existence there are prone to be several different versions etc so what the hell?

I have seen every model in existence. This one has been molested. Every XNA has a non-standard (not green) ROL. They all have sidecars. None have faceplates lifted from an Elite.....and so much more is wrong with this unit.

 

No you have not seen every single XNA ever created, how could you have possibly seen them all? There could be just a few exceptions.

 

Not really, if you look at the picture's you can clearly see wear on it. He also posted the RF isn't the original so yeah...

I have seen every XNA that survived. There are a couple prototypes + units from GDC + a few finals (which are all the same)
