Last I recall, mine an LED comes on and that's all. Unresponsive to any input or output AFAIK. So at the moment I'm close to deeming it a lost cause, as I rarely use the thing anymore anyway. But is there hope? Might be expensive if I have to ask a Japanese person to send it into Micomsoft. No clue about their rates and offerings.
its worth a shot to see what they would charge to get it up and running. Id be down to acquire a broken one to toy with in the lab some day
