Is it possible for somebody outside of japan buy products there? I see tons of discussions of people (outside of japan) saying "I lost that auction" or something like that but all the time I search about this on google it gives me the answer that it's only for Japan. So, anyone can buy there? How does it work?
If the seller has overseas shipping enabled, it is possible. AFAIK, Most sellers do not have this option enabled. Unlike ebay, you need to actually communicate with the seller. Most Japanese people do not speak decent English, so I would say there is a high possibility that you will screw up... Another thing to note, is paypal is not offered in 99% of the case, and other paying options are not easy. But it is not 100% impossible. Good luck
you have to use a middle man to do the actual bidding and ordering mate and they will forward the good to you this is as far as i know, i may be wrong edit: just tried to find an email of the company i used before but must have deleted it and can't remember for the life of me, sorry dude
that sucks. They usually have great prices there. I used to have a guy in my msn that helped me with taobao, but taobao is just for eletronic stuff, not so good for games.
I recommend using GaijinPunch's solution. It's cheaper and unlike others, it's focused for like-minded individuals. You won't find any of this "The product was sold as sealed, but it came open. Who cares right? Let's just ship it out anyways!" deal. Or a "Well, he said it was complete, but it's missing the obi strip which came with the game. Who cares right? Ship that garbage out. ".
Well, I guess a seller could throw that buy me, but I have pretty good luck. Probably the worst item I got was an arcade kit clearly used for an arcade. My room smelled like smoke for days after I shipped it.
