Sorry mate. You have to learn Japanese or try one of those sites that charge loads of commission. I have no idea what they are but other members of ASSEMbler know so maybe one of them will fill you in.

PS: Just remembered that GaijinPunch made some sort of English search system for Yahoo Japan Auctions. have a look at his site - japanesegaming.com

About 99% of the games have a YJ link on each page now. In addition to games that aren't on the site, you can go to the Yahoo Japan auction assistant and can search YJ for games for several systems. Neo Geo, PC-Engine, PC-FX, Saturn, MegaDrive, and Super Famicom. I need to do Dreamcast and PS one day.

sorry for reviving a old thread.. but I thought it was better then create a new one.. I saw some things on YJ that I wanted to buy.. do the sellers often send things outside Japan? if no, is there some other way to buy and still get it send to Sweden?

Rarely. There are a handful... very few that will ship abroad if you can

    1) Speak Japanese
    2) Easily send them a bank transfer. This requires a Japanese bank account, so basically all white people outside of Japan except for me are fucked on this.

Your only real option is celga or rinkya. And you'll have to pay for it. :(

ok. I visited that rinkya page and read about there fees and calculated that even if I used them I would still save like 300$ on the thing I was going to buy ^^

    edit:
didn't get any answear form rinkya.. so I mailed celga (really freindly ppl I must say :) ). Before I start transfer money.. are they good to deal with?

I recommend otaku ya. Fees seem very reasonable, none up front, only if you win. Good search engine for games, both by platforms and in some cases by game name. Great service too.
