Hey, what's a common japanese word used on auctions to describe a lot?

Let's say I'm looking for sega saturn game lot (like 10+ games sold at once), does anybody know how you can write it?

Yes, I do. It's a strange one though since it seems as if the seller was cancelling peoples bids. The highest bid is halfway down the bidding list! The below picture is the log of all bids on that SFBox.

Thanks Yakumo. Looks like it was going to go for a pretty heft sum now we get to watch that show all over again.

    @veggav
I usually use "セット" which translates directly to "set" if I recall correctly.

If a seller doesn't want to take a screwdriver to their item and take further photos, that's their right. Don't slag them off for it, please. His response is perfectly acceptable - it IS old and I wouldn't want to break it, either.

Yeah just as valid as "I messed up a little of the plastic, canceled the auction a couple of hours before it ended and relist it with basically the same pictures" excuse.

To be honest Retro, the seller is a bit of a tool. He's been canceling peoples bids. Maybe he's just doing a Adol and looking for publicity? :)

Lol, could be! Maybe Adol moved to Japan? ;)

That aside, though, you don't have an automatic right to demand a seller opens something up. By all means ask, but if they say no, don't moan. You have two choices - take a punt or walk away... and from what people are saying, the latter sounds like the better choice in this particular case! ;)

Oh, I agree totaly. But, yeah. In this case it may not be worth placing a bid. The seller does seem very picky about who he sells to.

Maybe it's that guy who refused to sell you the old stock because you'll just sell it on to "your kind"? :p

Publicity? Not really, selling was the purpose.
I wish him to be contacted by US National Museum, French National Library and Japanese Government agency like i've been though :friendly_wink:

It's funny to hear that since your full set auction has been spoted by japanese retrogaming bloggers.

They were suggesting this for you :D

@ Yakumo : I didn't follow the auction since the first has been cancelled (excepted Katana i'm not really into Dev stuff) , the second one has been sold ?

I'm not sure. I have no interest in the item either so I also didn't follow it the second time it was for sale.

Cool~~ I got pretty much everything in Saturn dev photo except the Mirage and its cable(?).
Bit too much to pay just to get the Mirage though... ^ ^
