Just the fact that it needs a Pisk Prive Hard (PPH) instead of a Hard Disk Drive (Hdd) :)

These are Part 10 and Part 14 of an undumped MSX-Laserdisc arcade game series, "The Yakyuuken" by "new Jatre" (newジャトレ). The Saturn "Yakyuuken Special" game is a port of this arcade game featuring a bunch of clips from the series. The game has you win rock/paper/scissor games against the AI in order to unlock little clips of girls stripping. A true trashy gem of a game for the Saturn (and 3DO). ;)

The arcade Yakyuuken used LDs that would run through the MSX-Laserdisc hardware. Some of the volumes, such as the Part 14 that's for sale above, also utilized a combination of MSX ROM-cartridges and LD. This would allow cheaper production as well as lower cost for arcade owners, as they don't have to buy a whole new PCB/system when they needed new gals for their sleezy arcade offering. heh

Apart from the Windows, 3DO and Saturn-versions, these games have never seen a release on other hardware and haven't been dumped so far. My research showed that the first Part was released in 1986 all the way until 1995, when it came out for other platforms.
There were 29 volumes on LD.

Interestingly enough, New Jatre also released another 4 Parts of a sequel called "The Yakyuuken Super" for the arcades, using CDs for a medium... and the CD-I as host hardware. Yes, that Philipps console that no Japanese consumer ever heard of... crazy.

If you can read Japanese, check out this website. Lots of info and images on what I just summarized here :p

Brand-new even, just the box is damaged. There was a perfect condition new old stock one on Yahoo recently as well, it sold for 25k if I remember correctly. It's crazy how often they pop up with box these days. I've been looking for them for a few years and in May it was the first time that even a boxed unit popped up in over 1 year.

Just curious...is this a reseal, or from the 4mb ram cart box? The reason I ask is because don't they usually not have back insert on the ones that come with 4mb ram box packaging. It is confusing the hell out of me right now.

From the 4mb boxset. The black edged jewel case normally gives that away.
Not all 4mb boxset games are without rear jewel insert. SFZ3, D&D, Groove on Fight all have them, probably more I have forgotten!

Edit - You can also see the auction is for T-1246G which is the boxset number, the game only release being T-1247G.

Oh, so that is the case that I thought. I only have the single game with the spine. I knew Groove on fight had the back insert, but I know in most cases that they remove the back insert in most of those ram pack games. Thanks so much for the clarification
