56'000 was pretty cheap for a minty MMP-001, wasnt it? Even without the LCD-screen... I saw another mint (with screen though) one going for 3k EUR 6 months ago.

Yeah, but its missing all the little extra bits from the bags..the strips, stickers etc. That stuff has proper collector value in a set. Lovely looking box though.

Ok, this is maybe an embarrassing question but why the fuck are sellers capable to extend time on auctions? I mean shit, I was about to bid in the last second and then it says "time extension! Check Point! yeah... lets end it 5 minutes later" ._: Whats the sense in the original ending time then?

I think its an option sellers can choose for each auction or not. Personally I think its great..means you don't get sniped on some auctions as a bid placed in the last 5 mins extends the auction by 5 mins. Good for a seller surely..allows a bidding to war to continue (I've had auctions I've bid on end 2 hours later than advertised lol)

In fact I thought it was so much the norm that it was actually yahoo policy tbh. That is until I lost a splendid auction on a snipe with no 5 minute extension. I was shocked, gutted and pissied off all at once!

As the saying goes bid what you want to pay that way you can never be disappointed.

As for time extentions, I think they are great as in a real auction the bidding goes on until no one else wants to bid, I've not seen any auctions where 5 people all wait until the last minute and then fight over who put up their bid paddle up first and shouted the loudest. Did come in useful when I forgot about an auction and thought I missed it and someone bid again, extended the time, gave me a chance to bid and win. :D
