To the Tokyo Game Show that is !! Yes, I will finally go to one after waiting over 10 years ! I'll be going this September 19th for the whole day with my video camera of course for a Retro Core Special. Then its off to Akihabara for some shopping

Do you think there will be any important announcements planned for that TGS? You know, like... Revolution or something?

 

well they'll have the 360 and PS3 for sure and quite possibly the Revolution so that stuff maybe worth watching.

Take a crapload of pics, even pics of the entrance building.

 

Make sure you're in stealth mode. You know what you should've done though? Got a press pass. It's pretty easy... .then they allow you to take pictures of everything. I won't be hitting the TGS, but I might POSSIBLY hit the AM Show in 2 weeks.

Congrats on going though -- looking forward to seeing lots of goodies. Is this your first one? ONe golden rule -- you can't really que for anything until you've seen the whole show.... 90 minutes here, an hour there... adds up, and the day is over.

 

Yes this is my first TGS. I've been wanting to go to this since the days of the Super Famicom but every year something comes up. I almost went to the one in 2002 if it wasn't for my holiday being cut short :smt022

Kind of off topic but I may be getting a press pass to E3 '06. But back on topic HAVE FUN, that sounds really great, and I hope you have a great time!

 

Hope you have fun. I've always wanted to go to one of these huge game conventions/shows/expos. Problem is, there isn't anything remotely like that where I live. Montreal is the closest metropolitan center that is considered to be gigantic. Anybody ever heard of a similar show going on there?

at last year's TGS, capcom of japan was selling/giving away these blue rockman football jerseys (number 69!) that to this day, not one japanese vendor i know could find them.

if by chance, if they do it this year too, i will pay any price (of money) you want for one, if your able to. thx

 

I'll be picking up anything I can get my hands on then offer them to members here if I get extras but I can't do requests due to me being too busy or should that be can't be arsed? Anyhow, I'll see what I can get.
