So is this the final version? I hope so! Downloading it now for some classic SOR action ! May feature this on Retro Core 29 if it's the final version.

*update* just downloaded and played it, it seems to be the full version with some nice designed twists in the levels and even usable firearms

It was made pretty well in the sense that it didnt look quite as half-baked and amateuristic as you usually see on these kind of projects, probably because of all the ripped sprites and such :) Still moves etc look pretty much the same, so in that sense i think they did quite a nice job.

Theres some added stuff that i didnt like though, like the added blood when you slash someone with a knife, looks really crappy imho.

Anyway i'll just stick to SoR2 myself.

I thought it was fantastic ! All the added levels look just as if they were running on a Mega Drive. I noticed a few new characters as well. Pretty much everything about it is well done. The enhancements look like part of the game and not some over the top shite which these remakes normally end up doing. The audio is fantastic as well ! Yuzo Koshiro himself would be proud of these remakes I'd say.

I have only one problem with the game and that is it bloody reset back to windows near the end of stage 3 (the sea port) :crying:
