I have just tried out sega's new wiiware game, Pole's big adventure it's the funniest game i have ever played. I swear you will piss yourself laughing, the game parodies lots of other games but it takes the piss out of super mario bros the most, looks & sounds retro but plays great. Lots & lots of silly jokes & even a running commentary in japanese that i found verry funny, as a sega fan you have to try it out. The game bends the rules all for the sake of comedy, i love it so much sega you are forgiven for your last few crappy games. Oh & check your wii as i have sent you a gift hehe. Sega ripped off Mario, and then released it on a Nintendo console?!?! Classic! :lol: Think it'll come out here? What's he saying, by the way? And is that on the game, or a commentary?
It's a parody of smb hehe in each castle at the end is a progressively more ugly princess :lol: & yes the commentary & subtitles appear on the screen as you play, the fun is finding all the comedy things they have put in the game. The commentary is usually about whats happening at that current point. Theres one point in the game where eating a mushroom makes him grow but only a certain bit of him LOLOLOL, that pretty much gurantees that it's going to be hard to get this in the west unless they cut it out.
Great looking game. If only it was a PSN or XBlive! game. I'd not pay full dollar for this... but I'd pay for a novelty download price.
Oh man, sound great. My Wii has been off line the last 2 weeks while I was setting up the new PC. I still haven't got around to setting up the router but with a prezzy on my Wii and that new Sega game plus I need to kick some ass on Akumajo Dracula Judgement I think I'll set it up tonight!. Off topic, but i never heard of akumajo dracula judgement until your mentioning of it Yakumo,so i googled it and i must say, i dont know how i feel about a castlevania fighting game, however its looking good so far, almost like Soul Calibur with castlevania characters and settings.
About Akumajo Dracula Judgement reviews you may see. DON'T BELIEVE THEM! They're probably written by castlevania fanbumboys who are just pissed that they never received another Symphony of the Night. The game is fantastic is a Power Stone 2 way with loads of play modes, options and even on-line VS. If you like Power Stone 2 you'll love this especially with the Castlevania theme. @Importaku - Thanks mate!! I played up to level 7-1 last night pissing myself laughing all the way through only to enter a Mario type pipe and be warped back to level 1-3! The Bastard! :lol: There's just so much in there and if you can understand Japanese it's even funnier with the comments he guy comes out with. Even my wife laughed when she saw what happened when you jump from a high platform. Yakumo
I know the bit you mean about the high jump bit (crack) :lol: Btw not all 100 jokes can be found on the first playthrough i discovered that when you play hard mode the remaining jokes appear in the levels. Hard mode really is hard too i still cant beat the boss of level 1 Glad your enjoying it. I hope sega make more stuff like this.
Some how I doubt it will ever get an English release unless they cut out half the stuff in it and even then I doubt the translation would really work. The only way they could do it was to re-write the game with the western gamer in mind. Yakumo
Best WiiWare game after Cave Story and one of the greatest games that few know/talk about it. It's totally shame that Sega didn't released it outside Japan. Oh well, for anyone who has a hacked Wii is not a problem so it's your loss, Sega.
