someone told me that the first genesis had better picture quality is it true?
i know that the RF cable is better on gen 1 , hooking it to the tv is easier to do than with the genesis 2....

but for the quality, is it true?

  2. RF is better on the mk1 but there's no big difference with composite that I've noticed, and I haven't seen RGB on either. It's possible to get S-video out of a an original model, while it is not on a model number MK-1631 Genesis 2. The Genesis 1 uses a Sony CXA1145 video encoder; the modification process is the same as a Neo Geo. However, the MK-1451 Genesis 2 (which is the model I primarily use) and Genesis 3 use a newer Sony CXA1645 video encoder. These models have an easier mod for S-video than the original. Keep in mind RGB would be best on any model, if that's an option for you. Here's some links:

Well when you play a 32x game via composite the picture isn't as blurry as an RF signal is.
