USA: http://us.yesasia.com/en/specials/nextgenconsole/subscription.aspx Elsewhere: http://global.yesasia.com/en/specials/nextgenconsole/subscription.aspx I've been shopping with YesAsia for years and I can't fault them. I was hoping this was going to happen
It wouldn't be a good idea to preorder the PS3 from them. It's a Japanese model, and while apparently the games are region-free, I'm pretty sure Blu-ray disks are not.
If I'm buying a PS3, no way I'll be able to afford a HDTV - not til I go to Japan to work, and then it won't matter anyway
Eh, I'm not a fan of these stipulations, especially given Sony's reliability issues with first run hardware: So, if you pay YesAsia's inflated cost and get a DOA product you can't get a refund and buy one elsewhere. Nope, you're stuck with paying them the "first day" price and potentially not getting a system until three months later when Sony restocks, the holiday season is over and prices have dropped back to normal retail. I'll stick with a retailer that can either offer a replacement unit right away or is willing to refund your cash in the case of DOA. -hl718
"YesAsia.com will have a limited quantity of PS3 60GB and PS3 20GB available on Nov.13, 2006. We are accepting pre-orders for these consoles right now at YesAsia.com. The prices for these hot items will be set at US$1899 (PS3 60GB) and US$1499 (PS3 20GB)." Ouch. I'll wait, thanks.
Free shipping? Thats a joke. Thats like selling a Gamecube for $250 and offering "free" worldwide shipping. How exactly is that free? You're already paying a damn fortune. Ofcourse if you're already paying this much money you're most likely completely insane or rich or both so i suppose paying another $shitload for shipping shouldnt matter anyway.
