Yet another competition XBOX surfaces and sells on eBay for $166

Probably one of the stupidest competition XBOXes given away. Modified/customised by Playboy, yeah Playboy.
From what I can tell it's one of the laziest customisation attempts ever, in history of competition XBOXes. To me when I first saw the system I thought it was simply one of those stupid console sticker/skins you can buy from K-mart for $12, put simply this XBOX looks just like that.
The seller added to the description, the system was opened by Playboy to apply the decals. Why would they need to open the system to apply a sticker? Anyway.

This wasn't the same seller as the Conker XBOX I posted about a few months back. It was mentioned it was AUTOGRAPHED but you can vinyl with those printed autographs lol. Also nothing was stated WHAT competition was entered to win this, so I'm not aware of how it was won.
Put simply this is a crystal edition XBOX with a Playboy skin, and really the model isn't really that beautiful either. lol.

For a "OOAK" system it didn't go for much, probably because it's nothing awesomely cool about it other than a skin. Pretty poor and really I didn't bother bidding for this. What's everyone's thoughts on this one? Oh did I mention it comes with a bag!?

I hope this passes the adult content rules, if not simply remove the post

When you break down the costs. A loose Crystal Pack XBOX is like $50. The person paid $116 for a playboy sticker.

 

Pathetic.

 

Doesn't look as bad as some of you are making it out to be. The last couple of threads I have seen with truly limited consoles (one - ten piece), people have been overly bashing from what I have seen.... EDIT: Assuming this is authentic. Either way, I am assuming it is, since it would be to weird of a hobby designer/modder from the looks of it.

 

Looks like the stickers are internal - hence why its been opened. (at least around the controller ports)

 

being PB edition for a second I thought it was personally delivered by cute Playboy Bunny and shown how to undress, ahem! the xbox cover...

 

I have that Xbox bag My 360 xenon died in there Not sure if this is worth my money, only intrested into the crystal xbox.

 

Top of the XBOX isn't really crystal clear, so the sticker would appear a little foggy/frosted. They seem very sharp all around.

 

Now I see it!

 

It's a '3D' decal (or how does one explain?) on top of the box.
Should've shown a pic with serial as proof...

My bet is, it could be genuine but bought and shipped from US, the opened up for a 220v PSU install?

Actually, I think Shinebi has it right - it's a set of those puffy, plasticised 3D stickers that has been put on the front and top. If you look at the 4th picture - the top-down one - you can see the label on the front of the console sticks out beyond the line of the case. Also, the front and top of the console are made of frosted plastic, so it would be nowhere near as clear if it was an internal label.

However, the slight scratched damage to the autograph makes me think that it is indeed an addition and not part of the sticker's design - silver marker does scratch off in such a way if applied to plastic.

 

I don't believe it would sold that well, is this official or custom made ?

 

It was 'customized' by Playboy. So it's official but nothing special.

 

I saw this Xbox soon after it was posted on Ebay. It was too ugly for me.
