can this be used with rhea as ramcard and to stores saves-play imports?
or is this also to play games from sdcard like rhea?
ok,get it,its also for playing homebrew-games ect via sdcard, but you must have laser assembled.

It will replace RAM and/or flash carts, with or without Rhea.

Playing games from SD card is possible, but won't be supported soon (and it might be slow, so don't count on it too much), in this mode wasca will issue command to SMPC to shutdown CD-block and will reply all CD-related requests on A-bus, just like SAROO does. Disassembling and/or opening saturn won't be required.

If you have any preorder-related problems or questions, you can contact me directly via PM.

Update : Power Memory works from SD card at last. Some things are unoptimal, some are utterly unoptimal, but it works nonetheless. Loading 8000+ blocks cart from SD at init takes less than a minute, updating written save back to SD takes around a half-minute. There are definitely ways to optimize this, but maybe i should consider big red "DO NOT POWEROFF" led...

Another update: boards are here & ready to be populated.

Glad to see things are moving along. I would love a all in one solution without opening the Saturn. Keep up the great work. Fingers crossed for game loading in 2016

Hi, where is this and/or the SAROO project now? I'll be blunt, I probably represent the majority of prospective buyers who mainly want a device that plays ISO's.

They're both currently in progress. They both require some hardware debugging (new boards have some hardware issues), but i'm busy with my main job, and i have very few time for debbuging, just a few hours a week, if not less. I hope i can pass this block soon, and move on from hardware back to firmware debug, that one should be easier to setup and find some time for.
