Yes it is public, yes you have to pay to get in, and yes it'll be crap.

Its the public thing put next to egn, which would be nice but is bloody expensive and elitist.

Well, im going down for the weekend with the Mrs and a few friends, so we aren't too worried if it's crap. Should get to grab some freebies if we are lucky.

Oh yes, and they have bunny girls there! :boobies2

I forgot to mention as well, if you go to www.megabus.com you can get from Cardiff to London for only £3 return!

Similar fares count all across the country, so Yakumo shouldn't have any excuse for going to that trade show, as it will probably cost him £5 at the most.

I did the search - set off from somewhere nowhere near me @ 10:45 on September 1st. Arrive almost 5 hours later nowhere near the show in london @ 15:15. In addition to that time spent on the tube and getting lost, by the time I got there it will probably be closed, then time to head back for the return trip home :smt022

EDIT: I'll see how my finances are for train though. What day is everyone going? I suppose Sat 4th September will be the more popular date? Perhaps we should all meet up and have a beer

We are going for the Saturday and staying over, coming home on the Sunday after a bit of shopping and sightseeing.

If it's not worthwhile coming for the event, don't waste all that cash just to meet up for a beer. We can always meet up another time somewhere a bit closer. :)

We are getting the 7:15 coach, arriving around 10:30. The event is just off all the main tube lines as well, so its not too hard to get to... hopefully

Tach, come on Wednesday, the first day.

    Why?

    1. Freebies run out.

    2. I'm going to London then, as are Importaku and Paulo will be around.

    3. I can get you into ECTS... but only if you tell me like NOW!

    Pull a sicky!

As for buses, you'd probably find that national express are a little more flexible, but if you're up north (e.g. Liverpool) you'd have to leave EAARRRLLLYYYY! i already told Yakumo its £20something for the bus, or he could get it for £13 if he books early (I think 3 weeks in advance, so a bit late now).

Well, you know what? my wisdom teeth have been giving me some gip recently. I think it could flare up any (3) week(s)...

When is the latest I can let you know? if I can get a megabus for that day, I could come down for £3, and still be able to afford the weekend trip with the Mrs and my mates (assuming I dont spend the money on booze or games while im there). Seeing as she is getting a bit further on in the pregnancy I can't really afford to let her down, as it's going to be a while before she is able/willing to do a trip away again. Work commitments are the biggest pain...

Let me know and I will see what I can arrange.

    Cheers!

Yeah, its straight off the District line pretty much. Gamestars is somewhere off the Circle line and a bit of a walk I think...
